be 동사가 없으면 의미가 반대로 되는 것에 주의 (*이 부분을 이해 못하는 경우가 있어서 첨언하자면... be 동사라는 게 저기 she was의 was를 말한다. was가 없으면 as tired as ....이렇게 된다. although 양보의 뜻이 아니라 흔히 보던 [as 형 as] 문형이 되는 걸 말한다.)

예전에 썼다가 draft 상태로 놔두었는데, 얼마 전에 수능 영어 강의를 보니까 이 문형 얘기를 하고 있더라. 어떻게 독해해야 할지 어려워하고 많이 틀린 문항의 지문이 이걸로 시작했다고.
EBS 문제집에도 나오고 평가원 모의 문제에도 나왔단다. (난 그 전에 2017 준비하던 애들 과외하던 거 끝내고 수능 영어에서 손 뗀 상태였다.)
이게 뭐가 어렵냐!
사전에 나오는 as의 뜻인데. 거기다 요즘 사전에 어떻게 해석하라고 하고 앞의 as는 생략할 수 있다는 문형 설명까지 해준다. 원래도 있었지만 요즘 다음 사전이 환골탈태한 지 좀 되었다. 어지간한 문법책 저리 가라이다. 동영상으로나 학원에서 강의를 듣는 애들이 누군가의 도움이 필요해서 돈 내고 강의를 듣는 것이긴 하겠다만 EBS 문제집에 나온 것인데도 어려웠다면 EBS 문제집을 꼼꼼히 보지 않았거나 스스로 사전 찾는 습관은 정말 안 들어있나 보다...
